breton stripes: part one

stripes make you look wider, right? wrong...and even if they do, who cares? breton stripes are so cute that the extra width is worth it. but i don't really believe all that hype anyways, so i'm falling for this trend! a nice crisp sailor-inspired look is so retro and fun, so nora and i wanted to share with you how we wear them. i bought this cute little tee at tj maxx for a whopping $5! and i figure i can wear it for all sorts of occasions...casual with skinny jeans, a bit more dressy with high-waisted trouser jeans, super cas with leggings or springtime fab with a crisp white skirt. what a great $5 spent...such a versatile tee.
