i am so sick of winter right now. you know in the fall when that first chill hits the air and you are super excited to break out the sweaters and jackets and scarves??? well, i am over it now. i am ready for springtime and sandals and shorts and breton stripes! for some reason breton stripes just scream springtime to me. maybe because of the whole sailor thing...being near water and going sailing. who knows? and i just love them paired with denim! so i decided to show off a couple spring-y/denim-y outfits with my stripes...
i found this shirt at kohls for $7 and i knew it would be so versatile. i had to have it. i love that it is sort of loose and billowy enough to be paired with some tight fitting skinny jeans or over shorts...but also can be tucked into a nicely fitted pair of jeans and worn with a belt. and i just love navy blue!
