might as well face it i'm addicted to sales

it's raining cats and dogs here (as rachel zoe would say, "lit-er-ally, raining cats and dogs ba-na-nas!"). but that didn't stop me from garage saling. is that how you spell saling? is that even a word? a little help?

anyways, i went to one sale by myself at 8 am. it was held by the cutest group of gals. we chatted and i shopped and i found a ton of stuff. then i went home. then i called amanda. then we went back. to the same sale. and i bought more stuff. i'm a mess. but seriously, i got some amazing stuff, all for under $50. and that price includes a bike. let me say that again...under $50, including a bike. maybe that doesn't sound impressive to you. but look at this list...

1 vintage suitcase

2 blouses (1 vintage, 1 handmade)

4 sweaters (1 vintage, 1 banana republic, 2 cardis)

1 black cocktail dress

1 handmade blazer

1 pair of tights

1 pair of thigh-high socks

2 pairs of leggings (1 gray and black polka dot, 1 fuchsia zebra print)

1 vintage amber swag lamp

3 necklaces

4 bracelets (1 is the awesome crocheted one like i featured in last week's love*birds post)

3 brooches/hair clips

5 rings

1 headband

1 scarf

1 bike

2 creepy dolls for nora (she has a collection of creepy/ugly dolls)

all of this for under $50. right? right? i am giddy!

tonight i'm having a kindergarten mom's happy hour at my house...so i somehow need to get all my new stuff out da way and clean up...i don't need these ladies to know that i'm a secret hoarder!
