it's a date *spring fling* recap

apologies in advance for the photorific post. we took a ton of before and after pictures, as well as a few "i drank too many beers" or "i only slept three hours last night" goofball pictures.

we rented out an amazing space last weekend for our "it's a date!" sale. we started to get concerned that it would be too small, because even though we are only two vendors, we bought ten vendor's worth of clothing and accessories! luckily we all have mad organizational skills, and we were able to fit most of it into one room. of course, what we couldn't fit, we just restocked on sunday! the room we rented is a ballroom/wedding dance studio. the owner, tom, is amazing and a terrific dancer. if anyone in the twin cities ever needs dance lessons, call him. holla!

we weren't able to start setting up until 10PM....yep...crazy! so we filled our bellies up with greasy fried food (blurg) and beers, and by 10, we were ready to go! the night consisted of running up and down stairs, unloading cars and minivans and a little bit of me doing the running man in a vintage swim suit (no photos of that, sorry!)

before:
a big empty room

during (set up):
 dance with me!
hangin' and pricin'
empty dressing room

morning of (before opening):
nora and i posing as the wall dancers
she's got legs (and she knows how to use them!)
coffee's made, champagne's chilling in the fridge...almost time to open the doors!

and at the sale:
in a moment of exhaustion, nora told a woman that she made this vase. the woman exclaimed, "wow, did you even twist the metal?" to which nora responded, "i don't know why i told you that...i didn't make it."
 cute little dressing room table

amanda set up this adorable flower display to welcome the customers. these little details make me so happy!

we had the best time! seriously...hanging out with your best friends all weekend, sharing mimosas with some of the most fashionable and hip customers in the twin cities, meeting all kinds of cool people and doing what we love...you just can't top it. we cannot wait for the next sale!!
