my little sister sent me this photo of camilla belle (in head to toe derek lam) the other day and simply stated that she loved this outfit! i do too. and i think it would be a perfect ensemble for all of the holiday parties and events that are happening this time of year! (or maybe that wedding i just got invited to! congrats, kate!). it's dressy (and sparkly!) but still understated. and you could easily throw on tights and a great coat (for those of us living in the frozen tundra, otherwise known as the midwest) and still look super chic!
the tea length skirt is very "in" right now. however, it was rather hard to find a cute one for a great price. i found these two at urban outfitters that i think would work really well for this outfit!
i also found a couple of cute, embellished tops. i just could not choose which one to use! the first choice is a bit more similar to camilla's, but the second has more sequins (which you know i love!).
i am also giving you two choices for shoes. the first pair, i think, would look better with a more "winterized" look. and the others, again, look a bit more like camilla's.
finish the outfit off with a few simple accessories!
